An AP report is claiming Nicki Minaj has resurrected the female rap game. And, being that there hasn't been anyone making waves for a long minute, we agree. Her album doesn't even debut until November yet she's all over the charts with singles and collabs, and even won BET's for Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Best New Artist awards. She was also nominated for MTV's Best New Artist VMA, and that's saying a lot for a female rapper. Especially for an artist who doesn't even have an album out yet. We definitely think she can flow and she's an interesting "character" but does she deserve all of the hype? Meh. [Source]

ReplyDeletethe vma have not come on yet so nobody no's if she going to win yet and yea nicki's good and she definately brought female rap back mainsteam wise and ever since she came out and started making noise alot of femcees that we aint hear of in years talking bout coming back with new material
