A loyal reader tipped us off to this and we had to share. It seems Jack in the Box (and McDonald's) from what sources say, is serving food that
may contain a cancerous chemical that gets activated when the food or beverage is heated or warmed. The sign above basically says, "it's not us, it's the people we get the food from. All we do is heat is up/ brown the food and the cancerous chemical is created". WTF?! How is this legal? How is this FDA approved. We don't eat fast food (like we used to) but the 2 tacos for .99 cents is a wrap! Please share if you see this warning sign posted at any other (fast food) restaurants, so we can put them on blast. We are curious as to whether this covers all Jack in the Box's or just the ones in South L.A.. Somebody call the cops, Nightline, 20/20, hell, The Obamas! *toots horns* *blows whistles*
And, yet, they get an "A"?! Seriously, this is not a joke. How long has said chemical been active in their foods and beverages...even the coffee? And, they're the cheapest menu on the block so who are they targeting? Yea, "they" and "targeting" 'cause that's what this is. There is no excuse for this. None. Please stoppp. We cannn't.

ReplyDeletethis is not a joke. this is a very serious matter. you may not eat it but your kids or their friends or their friend's parents... is this at every location or just in certain areas. looks like genocide. GENOCIDE!

ReplyDeleteit gets an A because despite its flaws people still go there. people don't give a fuck. kind a sad if you ask me because its like the government is saying yeah were gonna kill and the people say yeah alright come kill us and were still gonna give you money and work for you...SMH
ReplyDeleteAcrylamide is not something that is ADDED to foods that is hazardous. It is a chemical that is NATURALLY OCCURRING in many starchy foods and is released when heated, especially when grilled or fried. The whistle blowers really should do their research before screaming "FIRE" in a crowded theater.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your input. The research was done after, and we have yet to post a correction but we will. The FDA should be more forthright about this. There has to be solutions.
