SESAME STREET URGES LITTLE BLACK GIRLS TO LOVE THEIR HAIR WITH PSA...(VIDEO)

We totally LOVE this PSA from Sesame Street, "I Love My Hair!". It's a great anthem for little girls of color to embrace and celebrate. It's no secret that a Black girl's hair is versatile, but unfortunately society has bullied many of us into the beauty shop to get presses, perms and weaves for a straighter, more acceptable look. Sesame Street had the right idea with reaching out to the little ones and telling them it's okay for them to love their hair. Maybe their mamas will get the message too! And, then world hunger, homelessness and violence will end and the world will finally be at peace. Okay, maybe we took it a little far but we can dream, can't we?
