KEITH OLBERMANN RETURNS TONIGHT...

Though MSNBC (via General Electric) suspended him "indefinitely" without pay by last Friday, Keith Olbermann will return to the airwaves tonight. The very vocal left wing political pundit was being punished for making three political donations to Democratic politicians (on of which was on his show), which is against company policy.

The General Electric Co. network had originally suspended Mr. Olbermann—one of its biggest stars—indefinitely, without pay, citing NBC News policies against political donations. But in a statement, network President Phil Griffin said he had “determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night’s program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy.” He added: “We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night.” [WSJ]
Yep, after two working days and a massive public outcry, he's back. Tune in to "Countdown with Keith Olbermann", like we will, to show your support. MSNBC 8pm ET/PT, M-F. Sidebar: As much as we love Olbermann his return is bittersweet. His replacement, Thomas Roberts, is kind of cute! (teeheehee)
