Notorious B.I.G. Murder Case Re-Opened...(Video)

And, we're thrilled about it! According to news reports, a Special Task Force of local and federal law enforcement agencies are pursuing new leads in the case of slain rapper Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious B.I.G., aka Biggie Smalls. Wallace was murdered March 9, 1997 after being shot while in the passenger seat of a Suburban truck which was driving away from an industry party in Los Angeles.

Swarms of controversy followed his murder as fingers pointed to it being the result of an "east coast west coast rap war" between Bad Boy Records and Death Row Records headed by Sean "Puffy" Combs and Suge Knight respectively. Since Wallace was a part of Bad Boy's camp, the blame went to Suge Knight as being the shot-caller behind the hit. As the investigation wore on, accusations of involvement began to surface against off-duty officers of the LAPD who worked for Knight at Death Row Records. Mysteriously, investigators were stone-walled when such leads were followed.

Hopefully, after 13 years, we'll finally get some answers...and closure. Then maybe we'll subsequently get the same for Tupac's murder-- just 6 months before Big's. Tupac was shot and killed while a passenger in Suge Knight's car as they stopped at a signal on a Las Vegas Boulevard. Many (including us!) blame Knight for both Biggie's & Tupac's murder. For whomever is responsible: "Off with their heads!"
