THE UNIVERSE SAYS "CHEEEEEESE!"
The first full-sky image of the universe, as captured by The European Space Agency's Planck telescope, was released today. The 600 million euro Planck telescope was sent nearly 1 million miles into space to capture the images but its mission isn't quite over yet. Nope, Planck will continue to map the universe until 2012, and we look forward to future reports-- including those which may include aliens! [ESA]
