WTH? In Our Humble Opinion, this is along the same lines as Laurence Fishburne's daughter doing porn. Not a good look-- FOR YOU GABBY! Or maybe we're puttin' too much on it? ReplyDeleteOk,is she a BUNDLE of talent, really? With all of the attention Gabby has gotten, she really wouldn't have had to do much else but sing (and sing well) to get the industry's attention. Why is she still singin' in a subway station? She shoul...d be the next Susan Boyle by now! Lol! Is it even safe for her down there? I can't see letting my mom do this (though who am I to LET her do anything? Lol!)... let alone if I was an award winning actress w/ enough money and connects to hook her up. Hollywood is not a FAIR town...it's all about nepotism. Hard to play by rules when there are none.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I think when they did a brief story on her when her daughter was doing Precious...she said she enjoyed doing what she loved where she was in the station....
ReplyDeleteAyisha and Michael are right on- Her mom has been doing this for years- Gabby spoke of it when she was interviewed and was proud of the "standing"she had in the community. She is now on America's got Talent- however, i do not know where she is in the standings-
ReplyDeleteSo what that she's been doing it for years. To stop the debate we just need to know her motives. Is she interested in "making it" or is she just doing this out of the pure joy of doing it. If she wants to "make it" this ain't the way. If she just loves subway singing, then more power to her. No one is judging her. More so questioning Gabby not doing more. But again, if her mom is adamant about the subway singing then that is her choice and as a daughter all you can do is support the decision (which looks like that may be the case). Okay, 2 cents more than spent!
