Yep! Rapper Ja Rule, real name Jeffrey Atkins, 34, was charged with the violent felony after getting caught illegally toting a loaded .40 caliber Taurus pistol in his Maybach as he and two friends were leaving a Lil Wayne concert at the Beacon Theater on NYC's Upper West Side in July 2007. He plead guilty at the Manhattan Supreme Court just before his trial was set to begin. Obviously, the move was to avoid a much longer sentence. Sucks for him! Or, does it? Maybe the jail sentence will this help him revive his career? *thinks about it* Nahhh. Doubt it. Anyhoo, Pop the Trunk for a time when he was relevant (before 50 Cent killed his career. Womp)....
