Los Angeles Laker Sasha Vujacic popped the question to girlfriend of about a year, Tennis champ Maria Sharapova. They've been dating (publicly) for about a year and he just popped the question at his Manhattan Beach home. Maria must be his good luck charm 'cause he came off the bench tonight to fill in for Kobe against Golden State. Ha! Wonder if Maria will join the cast of "Basketball Wives"? No? You don't think so? Yeah, us either.

DEREK FISHER TAKES A MEETING WITH PAT RILEY?

                                                                         

We are NOT happy campers waking up to the news that Laker Guard, Derek Fisher, took a meeting with Pat Riley, coach of the Miami Heat. Are you buying into this new "Super Team" hype? Come on, D. You're better than that. And, if the Laker organization doesn't go above and beyond to keep you on board, they will officially suck. According to the L.A. Times, contract negotiations with the Lakers are moving at a slow pace. If they know what's good for 'em, they'll light a fires under that azz and get the deal signed and sealed.
