SHIRLEY SHERROD GOT THE SHAFT BUT NOW SHE'S GOT THE POWER...(VIDEO)

If you haven't yet heard about government worker Shirley Sherrod being unjustly fired, we are glad you at least come here to BlazeAdams247. My gosh! So, Shirley Sherrod, a now former employee of the USDA under the Dept. of Agriculture, was abruptly fired after a right wing website posted a snippet of her speech to the NAACP, which indicated racially charged comments about a white farmer. When word got out about the video, she was forced to resign by Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. Not put on leave until further investigation, but forced to resign. Not only that but without seeing the entire video the NAACP publicly backed the forced resignation, and reportedly so did the Obama Administration.

Well, that's not exactly how the story goes but very close. It's being reported by National Journal Magazine that, "if the economy produces jobs over the next 8 months at the same pace that it has over the past 4 months, the nation will have created more jobs in the year 2010 alone, than that of the entire 8 years of George Bush's Administration."

In President Obama News...America is Playing Patty-Cake Again with the Rest of the Globe -- Concerning Gay Rights, At Least

Well, what do you know? The Obama Administration is doing more than trying to straighten out our mess-of-an-economy. It has just been announced that the Obama Administration will endorse a French sponsored U.N. declaration, which calls for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality, per Huffingtonpost.com. Not surprisingly, former President Bush had previously refused to sign the declaration-- making the Bush administration (and us, the American people by default) the only western government which refused to sign on.

Wow! That old cowboy was really a son-of-a-bitch while in office, right? I mean, we knew this but dayum! Gay people in America have been getting it raw for the longest but it looks like things are looking up, at least legislatively. Now if only they can manage turning over the prop 8 decision. That will prove to be a milestone. It is a fact that gay rights fall under the umbrella of human rights and everyone deserves equality. And, as a human being (straight albeit) all I can say is to this is, Yes We Can!
