Couldn't pass up sharing this story. Huge lessons are within. So, check this out: A Temecula CA father, William Atwood, Sr., 45, "lures" 23 year old Justin Moore to his home to discuss a picture that Justin texted to the father's 17 year old daughter. The picture was of he 23 year old's nude genitalia, which he says he sent to a group of friends as a joke. The father apparently called the police upon learning about the nude pic but without result.
So, when the 23 year old showed up at the house, dad was waiting in the driveway with a shotgun, which he fired before ordering Justin out of the car. After firing a second shot, Atwood then stripped the young man down, tied him up, then tasered him for twenty minutes while threatening to kill him and bury him on an Indian Reservation. The killing and burying of course never happened, instead, dad called the Sheriff to again report the 23 year old's misconduct toward his underage daughter.
Obviously, Atwood didn't know that the tables would turn and he would be the one under fire. Yep, the Sheriffs have since charged the father with 4 felonies: According to L.A. Times, "Prosecutors have charged William Atwood Sr., 45, with making criminal threats, false imprisonment, assault with a stun gun, assault with a deadly weapon and other gun charges. If convicted, Atwood faces 16 years in prison." Oh-- the update is that the father denies tasering the young man. Lessons: 1) Don't text minors nude pics 2) Don't take the law into your own hands (and then tell on yourself) That.is.all.!

What did he THINK was going to happen, when he called the Sheriff after you ORDER someone OUT of car at gunpoint(actually that's KIDNAPPING if you want to be technical, tie them up(false imprisonment), fire a weapon into the air while threatening an individual(assault with a deadly weapon) and the list goes on IF the Police were being shitty. I'm just saying. That was REAL dumb. My daughter or her ROMANTIC Cohorts will NEVER send me to jail unless I walk into my house and his "talee-whacker" is in HER mouth in my living room. Then...we GOTS problems.

ReplyDeleteThis is a case of crazy going crazier- daMonstah has it right- the fool thought he was above the law because the kid showed his popstick to the girl.... Just the same kind of stupid when drug dealers call cops when they get ripped off and their stuff is stolen.....
