We wouldn't be right if we didn't acknowledge that NY Yankees owner, George Steinbrenner, died of a heart attack today. Steinbrenner was much more than a team owner, he was a trailblazer in business and a larger than life personality.
Though he came from money, his father was big on work ethic. As a child, instead of relying on an allowance, Steinbrenner sold eggs door to door. Later in life, he used money from his jawdropping accomplishments in his father's shipping company to purchase the NY Yankees, and the rest is history. R.I.P. George Steinbrenner. Well played!

I remember him on Seinfeld and being portrayed in another episode. I didn't get the joke then but it's funny now. What a life this man led. R.I.P. George!
