The view hosted the cast of the Real Housewives of DC (which premiers tonight) on yesterday's show. One of the "housewives" is Michaele Salahi, one half of the infamous White House party crashers, got into it with Whoopi backstage after the show. On the clip (below), she's being grilled by Sherri and Joy about what really happened the night of operation "White House Crash", but it was like pulling teeth getting a straight answer from her.
Seemingly, out of nowhere, Whoopi walks by the couch, and gently and quickly lays her hand on Michaele's arm while telling her to get to the White House story. Well, apparently, Whoopi went to the chick's dressing room after the taping and got in her face about the "tap" that she heard Michaele spun into a "hit". Needless to say, the rest wasn't pretty. Word is Whoopi went off, and even more-so when Michaele's husband jumped in and tried to take pics with his Blackberry. We can't make this stuff up. Read below and watch the clip for yourself.
What set Salahi off was when Goldberg came from backstage and approached Salahi on the air, saying something that was inaudible to viewers. According to Lisa Bloom, the Salahi’s lawyer, Goldberg grabbed Salahi’s arm [2 minutes into this video] and said, “Move on, move on! Get to the White House!,” in an attempt to steer the conversation toward allegations that the Salahis party-crashed last year. The moment lasted all but a few seconds, but Salahi was apparently unnerved and remarked that she’d been surprised by Goldberg’s appearance. Co-host Sherri Shepherd remarked to the audience, “That’s Whoopi. She don’t come out unless she’s passionate.”
Then, after the show finished taping, Goldberg, according to the Salahis’ lawyer, Lisa Bloom, burst into a room Michaele was sitting in with Tareq and screamed: “I didn’t fucking hit you! Did you say I fucking hit you?”
“She was screaming and dropping the F-bomb many, many times,” Bloom told The Daily Beast exclusively. Tareq apparently began filming the verbal altercation with his BlackBerry, though Bloom said he only caught “the last few seconds.”
