Well, it seems the talks didn't stop after the bloggers said "American Idol says NO to JLO"-- including us ;). Word was that Jennifer's demands were too high and Idol was over it. Wellll, the update is that Jennifer is now on board (or, in this case, at the table) for a mere $12 million. Word is, she asked for $15 mill, as well as a request for something from FOX having to do with trying to sustain her film career. She said to be withholding the announcement until late September when her new single is set to debut.

Well, she's not a singer, in my opinion, but she maybe she has a good ear for real singers....I don't know. But she definitely can judge on performance. Either way, it's good to see J-Lo back on the scene. I like her.
