Okay, let's just get THIS out the way: Lindsay faced the judge this morning for sentencing after her (most recent) failed drug test. Unlike T.I. who (has a wife and more than a handful of children) was just ordered back to jail for 11 months after also violating the court's order by way of a drug charge. (The sentencing disparity is a whole other discussion.) As you can see by the video, and as well by this post, she is a top story in today's news headlines. But why?
We had a meeting to decide how to move forward with such shenanigans, and, we're still in discussions, but look like she's getting voted off the BA247 island. We are an entertainment news site, however, we have carte blanche here and she does not HAVE to be in the club. She's a good actress and all, but enough already, Dude. C' mon. There are so many independent and up and coming artists (of all genre) and it's such as shame that they don't have a platform.
With that said, we will now dedicate a weekly tribute to a Blazin' New Artist. If you are one, EMAIL US. Independent and Up and Coming Actors, Directors, Models, Authors, Designers, Singers, Rappers, Entrepreneurs, WE WANT TO SEE YOU. It's time to shine. Examples like Lindsay Lohan we don't need. Time to move on. Don't you think?
