Unless you've been on a desert island for the past 20 years, you know that Rodney King was a victim of police brutality, and the acquittal of the cop-beaters is what set off the "Rodney King Riots" in Los Angeles in 1992. Well, he won a civil settlement and has been in the news over the years for his rachety behavior from drugs and alcohol. Well, now, the headlines are about his recent engagement-- to one of his jurors. One of his jurors? Yup, Cynthia Kelley was a juror in his 1994 settlement case and was therefore one of the jurors responsible for awarding him his multimillion dollar settlement. Word is, they have recently rekindled their friendship after an initial courtroom flirtation. Love shows up in the strangest places, doesn't it? And, look how happy they are (below)!
