PRESIDENT OBAMA SIGNS MOST SWEEPING FINANCIAL REGULATORY OVERHAUL BILL SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION...(VIDEO)

President Obama seems to be keeping promises! Yup,he has he has just signed into law a set of reforms "to empower both consumers and investors." And, according to the president it's the strongest consumer protection law in history.  He also says the law looks out for people as they interact with the financial system.

This, of course, comes in the wake of the 2007-2009 economic melt down (that is still melting), which stems from Bush Ecomonics deregulation and shady finance business dealings. The law is said to force businesses to "compete based on quality and price not tricks and traps" and "demands accountability and responsibility from everyone", according to Obama.

His best line, we think, was stating that businesses have nothing to fear from the reform unless their business models depend on cutting corners or bilking their customers. Booyah!

  3. He has done more as President that most but is still fighting the PR gamers- People need to see what he has been doing- Healthcare, Financial reform- getting BP to put record amount of $$$ in a fund for the victims of the spill - making sure people are paid... plus so much more - But no one ants to give him credit- he needs a PR firm to make the public get behind him and vote the Rep. and rep/dems out who are not supporting his bills.
