The city officials of Bell, CA have got lots of 'splainin' to do when it comes to 3 of their administrators' outrageous salaries thanks to the L.A. Times snitching them out last week. While the line for the free food bank wraps around 2 city blocks, these clowns are bringing in annual salaries from low to high 6 figures. The City Manager, Robert Rizzo (pic'd above), earns a whopping $800k a year! More than President Obama! The Bell Police Chief makes $500k a year! More than 50% of L.A.'s Police Chief! And, Assistant City Manager, Angela Spaccia, earns $376,288, more than the top administrator for Los Angeles County!
This charter city, which houses about 40,000 residents, is impoverished. Yet, Bell's mayor, who brings in more than $100k, not only approved the salaries, but tries to justify them in the video above. Watching this video made us sick to our stomachs. This corrupt mayor, who can barely annunciate his words, acts as if he's above the law. He should be thrown into the streets naked, then tarred and feathered and paraded around the city while made to pass out food and other necessities to those poor residents. We're angry, can you tell? Lawrd have MERCY. I said this before...and I'll say it again. If you stood in the middle of the City of Bell and heaved a rock in any direction...it's a good bet that the rock would land OUTSIDE the City limits of the City of Bell.
ReplyDeleteIt's that SMALL. So how in the "H", "E", Double Hockey sticks that the City Manager is making $800K a decade...let alone a year...is BEYOND me.
I would also add that HALF of the inhabitants residing in the City of Bell in all likelihood are immigrant workers. How many people could you feed on an $800K salary in a year? Hmmmmmmmm.
This is FOCKERY...to the HIGHEST level of FOCKERY and I wouldn't be at all surprised if at the end of this investigation...people are jailed. Stay tuned.
