So, the Lakers have spoken and Shannon Brown is out, and Matt Brown is in. Yep, UCLA alumn and former Orlando Magic forward (and a host of other teams since he was drafted in 2002) has just inked a 2 year, 3.6 million dollar deal with our beloved L.A. Lakers. To do this, he turned down a lucrative $7 million, 2 year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Hmmm. Based on all of the Facebook commentary we're seeing, it seems everyone is giving him a thumbs up, but we're not feelin' it. Sorry-- we just can't get over he and his fiance'/baby momma's Tom Foolery on "Basketball Wives" and the drama which surrounded it.
Lol! We don't care how coveted of a player he is-- he smells like bad energy. BUT because we love our Lakers soooo much, we will give him a pass. He must be doing something right if Kobe gave him his stamp of approval, right? Nonetheless, we are looking forward to the season and whoopin' some more butt. Especially, that Miami Heat butt! [
