Well, whomever was behind this bright idea is a genius! Hmpf! Something tells us Jessica has been playin' the dumb blonde role real good all of these years. Her fashion line, which has recently teamed up with Jones NY, brought in an estimated $750 million in 2010-- and 2011 promises to be even better with sales projections at $1 billion. We can attest that her shoes are the bomb.com, as we have a few pair ourselves. Needless to say, she need not sing another note in her life. And, her fiance' is one lucky bastard.

Interestingly, just two weeks before Nick and Vanessa's engagement announcement, the two couples were spotted dining at The Red O in Hollywood.  Not together, of course. They were said not to have even seen one another but the paparazzi made sure everyone was aware of the situation. Jessica supposedly made a snarky remark about how Nick took her money and that Vanessa should be thanking her for her designer gear. Meoowww! 

So, is Jessica's engagement rushed to spite Nick and Vanessa? Many feel as though Papa Joe is behind Eric's proposal, maybe even monetarily. Some even suspect Jessica is pregnant-- again. All we can say is SMH! This is not a good look for Jessica at all. The publicity surrounding her "engagement" looks desperate and tacky on her part, sorry. C'mon, Jess! You're better than that!

BLAZIN' RUMOR: JESSICA SIMPSON PREGNANCY TALK-- AGAIN...

The National Enquirer ran a "Jessica story last month that Jessica is expecting her first child with boyfriend Eric Johnson. There is also another story out there about her becoming suspiciously sick recently:

“She flew in on a helicopter and had three Red Bulls with no water. Then she complained it was too hot out. She only sang one song, then vomited. She was dehydrated and got sick before she performed — and even got an IV. The doctor told her not to sing, but she did anyway," a source told Showbiz spy.

We don't know WHAT to believe but we DO know that are stats have been rocked in the past few days because of the massive Google searches about it. So massive, we had to look into it, which brought us here. We weren't aware of the National Enquirer story but we know that Jess is in love and you know what can happen to a girl when she's nesting. 'Nuff said! As with all pregnancy rumors, time will tell. By our calculations, we should know definitively within by the end of the year. Until then, leave the girl alone! She deserves to be happy and in love!
