JUDGE OVERTURNS PROP 8 RULING IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, SAYS IT'S UNCONSTUTIONAL...

U.S. District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker overturned Prop 8 in CA today (ban on gay marriage), deeming it unconstitutional. She also ordered the state to stop enforcing the ban immediately. Following her ruling, she then stayed the decision until Friday (with anticipation of appeals), and may enforce a longer stay depending on the number of appeals. Sounds like progress.
