We watched the Prince Tribute in its entirety and are uber impressed with the performances. Jonelle Monae turnt up Prince's "Let's Go Crazy", the amazing Esperanza Spalding (pic'd above) sang a sultry "If I Was Your Girlfriend" with guitar-like instrument in tow, Alicia Keys climbed and gyrated her pregnant self all over her piano during "Adore", and Patty closed it out by kicking her shoes off to "Purple Rain". Prince even teared up. And, gave only a slight side-eye. Haaha! You must watch to see for whom. Nevertheless, it's Aweeesommeee! Sidebar: This tribute has NOTHING to do with that mess of a performance-- that butchering of "Purple Reign"-- by Trey Songz. That ish made us cringe, and even hide little. [BET]
