Drake's first week album sales are in and guess what, Ya'll? 462, 989 SOLD! Yup, that's what "Thank Me Later" pulled in this week. Given that most of the album was leaked prior to its release, the free downloads could very well be why he didn't at least surpass the 500k mark. Still, with the music industry biz in the state that it is, Drake did damn well for himself and we applaud him. *golf clap* [

Drake is definitely the biz. I've read harsh criticism regarding the new CD but it's only because he shot to the top so soon in his music career. Mix tapes rarely see the success his did. When you're that far up, people want to tear you down. It's that simple. And, it's unfortunate that side of human nature always seems louder than the more positive side. He'll be alright though. No doubt.
