Your Boy Dennis Rodman Could be Facing Jail Time for Back Child & Spousal Support... And It's ALOT!!!

Poor Dennis Rodman. His career has been spiraling downward for years now. At one time, he was always in the news for his outrageous antics but this new report takes the cake. It seems his a littleee behind in child and spousal support. In fact, he owes his ex-wife Michelle $860,376, which a judge has given him until May 29th to pay! If not, he could face jail time, but some feel he may get community service instead. It's sad as he was such a great basketball talent. And, with his wild personality he could have taken his career to unknown heights but it seems he has such a drinking problem that he can't get gigs anymore. We hope he gets his sh*t together soon... for his kids at least. He's a Hall of Famer after all! They're champions!

We've Got Video of the Million Hoodie March in NYC....(WATCH)

Hundreds of Trayvon Martin supporters came out in their hoodies to march for justice. The protest/ march took place in NYC's Union Square and speaks volumes to how passionate people are about his killer's arrest and conviction for taking the unarmed teen's life. Surprisingly, there are some on Twitter who feel that marching is pointless, but we say the contrary. It raises awareness and gets the necessary attention for the cause at-hand. If we don't make noise then it is easy for those who want it to quietly go away to get just that. So, march on! As a matter of fact, supporters in L.A. are meeting up this Sunday (3/25/12) on Crenshaw and Exposition Blvd to march in protest to Leimert Park. Angelinos stand up!

Check Out Wu Tang Clan Talkin' 'Bout Their Legacy, and More...(Watch)

Thisis50.com spoke to Rza, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, and U-God of the legendary NY based rap crew Wu Tang Clan about their beginnings, and other things. Our favorite quote is from Rza. When the interviewer asked where he gets his inspiration he answered: "Inspiration comes from everything... it comes from life. But what really motivated me what the need and demand to get outta hell (laughs)... you know what I'm sayin'? I had to get up outta there." We here that! The video clip is a cool glimpse into the artists who inspired many who came after Wu Tang made their mark on the rap scene. Now, they're 20 years in the game, Baby! Check 'em out below...

Will You Support David Banner's Sex, Drugs, and Video Games Project? It'll Only Cost You $1!

So, David Banner feels like the music industry (suits and labels) need to be sent a clear message: "We run this shit, not you!" In our words, not his, but that's the gist of the sentiment behind what he's calling A Movement. Banner (looking mighty fine in the pic above, riiight?!) is gearing up to release the first single, "Believe", featuring Big K.R.I.T. from his upcoming project, Sex, Drugs, and Video Games, which is set for release on May 22nd. According to Banner, features will include Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and others.  All he is asking is that fans (2 million of you) donate $1 to the project.  The money is going toward a feature film of the same name... unless we've misunderstood. Watch the video below to get it straight from the horse's mouth. Sounds like a worthwhile cause. Though, $2 million would feed and clothe a lot of hungry and homeless folks. Jus' sayin'!

Put Ya Hoodie on for Slain Teen, Trayvon Martin!

(Left: Trayvon Martin pic'd with his killer George Zimmerman)

Via hiphopwired.com:
In conjunction with the United Nation's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, a group of revelers will gather in New York City this evening to march in solidarity in support of growing public outcry regarding the tragic shooting of 17-year old Trayvon Martin in Florida.
A Grand Jury will convene on April 10th to find whether or not Zimmerman should be indicted for Trayvon's murder. In the meantime, we need to continue to stand up for Trayvon and his family (and all of our sons of color, for that matter). If we don't, who will?

The Trayvon Martin Tragedy: When Will It End? (Video)

                                                 Trayvon Martin

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

Unless you've been hiding under a rock you are aware of the story about Trayvon Martin who was slain without rhyme or reason by a "self-appointed" neighborhood watchman who happens to be hispanic (despite reports that state he is white... he is clearly not). The story is incredibly suspect yet no arrest has been made for the killing of 17 year old Trayvon. What gives Florida police? We'll wait...
