THE FEDS SAY PASSING PROP 19 WILL NOT LEGALIZE MARIJUANA UNDER FEDERAL LAW (VIDEO)

Federal officials, along with L.A.'s Sheriff Lee Baca, held a press conference to let voters know that whether or not Prop 19 (the legalization of Marijuana in California) were to pass by majority voter, U.S. Department of Justice will vigorously enforce the law, as it would still be a federal crime to sell, traffic, distribute and cultivate marijuana. (Not sure where just smoking it fits in.) Clearly, the press conference was intended to dis-way voters from passing Prop 19 on November 2nd. Officials are most likely trying to keep a lid on the pot (pun intended), for their limited resources would not be able to handle the sure masses of federal offenders if Prop 19 were to pass. As you can imagine, every law enforcement agency and union is against Prop 19 and are doing the most to make sure it doesn't happen. Source

  1. When you consider all the money WASTED over prosecuting people for possesion of marijuana, all the turmoil over the drug trade in Mexico...you have to wonder what the HELL Lee Baca is SMOKING. No?
He's CLEARLY full of s***. My words to him and others...FOCUS ON REAL CRIME. Rid us of the plague of gang warfare and violence. Spend our money fighting REAL drug abuse...as in CRYSTAL METH(mostly white people use this too) as opposed to spending valuable resources (public taxpayer revenue) on pot smokers. And stop hating asshole.

  2. These clowns are definitely reaching for ignoring voters and hanging on to the federal law precedent. Sounds like the federal law needs to be challenged if this is the card they are going to pull. Maybe if these officials would spark up a blunt first they would know the real. It ain't hurtin nobody.
