MAGIC JOHNSON SELLS HIS STAKE IN LAKERS FRANCHISE FOR $35 MILLION...
Atleast according to TMZ he did. They report that while on a private jet ride to a YMCA event in Hartford, CT, the former Laker star now savvy business man was signing the deal on the dotted line. After handling that monumental deal, he was said to then have gone on to do his YMCA charity work, donating 2 courtside Laker seats for 2 regular season games, along with signed jerseys, which raised $48,000 for the organization. Nice!

Kind of sad really though. I would have liked to see Magic Johnson someday take majority ownership of that team. One day when Dr.Buss hangs up his guns so to speak. I happen to think Magic would be a dynamic owner. But who knows? It may someday still come to pass? One never really knows.
