OMGawsh, his Purple-Heinous called a press conference at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY to announce his upcoming concert series called "Welcome 2 America". The series will launch in NY "on one purple day in December 2010" and will feature old and new music greats such Sheila E., Leilah Hathaway, Mint Condition and Jonelle Monae who will perform with his band New Power Generation. He encourages the audience to "come early and come often. I have a lot of hits... no two shows will be the same. Bring friends, bring you children and bring foot spray 'cause it's 'gon get funky".
