We didn't hear much buzz about Denzel's "Unstoppable" before it opened. Totally forgot to post about it. Anyhoo, when you go to see these 3-D movies, make sure to take disinfectant wipes for those 3-D glasses they give you at the theater. We recently reported findings about fungus's and other disgusting hazards after random pairs were sent to a lab for testing. Ugh! But, back to "Megamind"-- its box office reign is not surprising. A movie about aliens on earth, by Will Ferrell, and starring Brad Pitt is a total winner in our books too. Jus' sayin'. Pop the Trunk for more + watch the trailer...
Via CBS online: The DreamWorks Animation family comedy, featuring Ferrell as the voice of a super villain, made just over $30 million in its second week in theaters, according to Sunday studio estimates. It’s now made nearly $90 million total.
Opening in second place is the 20th Century Fox action thriller “Unstoppable,” starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pine as railroad workers trying to stop a runaway train. It made $23.5 million.
