The students at Canterbury Boys High School flipped their lids after Jay-Z surprised them with a visit and gifted all 480 students free laptops. All thanks to substitute teacher, Polly Dunning, 22, who commented on Oprah's website about why Jay Z should visit. She expressed how she and the boys share a love for hip hop and that Jay Z is such an outstanding role model. She also wrote about the students' economic battles. She was just as shocked as the kids when Jay showed up. What a moment that must have been! Good job, Polly! Someone hire that woman, stat!

Pink Friday clock in record-breaking sales numbers its first week, but the train is still rollin'. She debuted behind Kanye West at #2 on the charts, but has since surpassed the 500k mark certifying the album as Gold. Last week
Pink Friday sold an additional 81,900 copies surpassing Kanye West's sales by more than 16,000. No doubt that her persona in interviews and such has contributed to much of her hype (and her azz hasn't hurt either), but her raps are quite tight and we're happy to pump the "Girl Power" fist in the air for her and her current reign. "Get it Girl!"
