SEEN & HEARD: Money Mayweather Boasts Cashin' Out $60 Million VS. Shane Mosley's $2 Million for Upcoming Fight (VIDEO)

The much anticipated Mayweather VS. Mosley fight takes place in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 01, 2010 @6PM. Many of the bloggers are doubting 38 year old Shane's comeback ability (he hasn't fought in a year + he's 38!) but even still many, hating on the flamboyant "pretty boy" Mayweather, are wanting Shane Mosley to show him the business.

Here's video of Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Jr. boastin' about the stacks he's makin' for the fight. Says Mosley can't doesn't come close to his $60 Million with his $2.7... even says Shane got a $2 Mill advance from Oscar De La Hoya and his Golden Boy Promotions. Mayweather wipes his azz with that kind of dough let him tell it.  Lol!

Still, we are watching HBO's 24/7 episodes every Saturday night leading up to the fight and have our own bets wagered, however, we will only know when it's all over. It's all about that HBO Pay-Per-View on May 1st. If you miss it, catch the recap here. Can't wait! :)

FASHION FREAK FRIDAY: Eva Marcille Rocks the Vote for Clutch Magazine and We're Spinning It 'Cause She's Our Star!

Ok, so we have sort-of adopted the gorgeous and talented model and actress Eva Marcille 'cause he rocked our stats last week! And, because of this (and our general love for her swag) we're ridin' with her all the way. We feel, like us, she is well, an UNDERDOG(ETTE). Meaning, low-key under-appreciated and undervalued as far as the spotlight goes. We feel that Eva belongs on the Big Screen and those bullshit azz bit-part TV projects and appearances should be a thing of her career past. But we know things like this take time and she was fresh off the ANTM runway when getting into the business, so we're not slingin' mud at anyone here. We're just speaking the truth. WE WANT MORE EVA! Do we smell a campaign? Since we're going there WE too are STARS and we expect to be treated as such! *clears throat*

Anyhoo,  with the initial announcement of Eva-the-Diva's adoption, we promised to spotlight her regularly in some sort of way. Today, we are featuring her in our Fashion Freak Friday feature. As freaks for fashion, we are always celebrating good fashion items, looks, and sense. The above pic was posted in a recent piece for Clutch Magazine Online's "Fab or Drab" feature. They polled site visitors about whether or not Eva's (glam-goddess) look at Chris Aire's "Hollywood Collection" Runway Show was Fab, Drab, or Neither-- Just Alright. Well, the results are in and Not Surpisingly Eva Rocked Her Frock getting a majority (66%) of the Fab Votes.

Hot-headed Supermodel, Naomi Campbell, shows fools who's boss when she walks out of an interview being taped for (ABC) Channel 7 and allegedly smacks the cameraman on her way out. Lol! In case you're at work and can't watch it at the moment, the (snotty) reporter asks Naomi about whether she accepted a "Blood Diamond" ring from a certain gentleman dictator. Naomi made it clear that she did not want to discuss that, and she was not there for that, but the reporter kept pressing the issue. If you ever questioned Naomi's "ghetto pass" you won't after watching the video. It's hilarious! But see, Naomi can do that though. Work it, Naomi! Watch the video, you'll see what we mean...

THURSDAY'S TABLOID TIDBITS: Break Ups, Hook Ups, Divorce, Cheating, & Smackdowns (Not necessarily in that Order!)

Not only do we spend our time surfing the net for juicy news stories and scandalous pics (for you!), we also read the taboids (tabs). With that, we can't keep letting their little juicy tidbits die with Friday morning's trash pick up:

• Word is (In Touch magazine), Charlie Sheen was "poorly disguised" (wearing dark thick mustache circa 1976, sunglasses, beanie, over-sized coat and sweater) while out frolicking with his side piece, lingerie model Angelina Tracy, one recent sunny afternoon.  Clearly Ol' Charlie Boy didn't realize he was being followed by the paps... or could it have been his wife, Brooke Mueller's, private (eye) investigator? It's not unknown that they are having problems. Just last Christmas Ol' Brooke called the po-po's on him for putting a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her. He's still going to court for that incident... we doubt he gets jail time, but we shall see. But this is 'Ol Charlie's M.O (along with the prostitutes and chronic drug use).. Didn't Brooke see how things played out with Charlies ex-wife Denise Richards? That shyit was all over the news when it was goin' down. Oops, our bad! She was too busy stealing him away from her *coughs* being courted by him at that point. *twirls hair, gazes upward*

•   Word is (US magazine), Justine Timberlake is flirting around (and very possibly cheating) on girlfriend of more than two years, Jessica Biel, with (surprise!) ex-girlfriend of four years, A-list actress, Cameron Diaz.  See, Justin and Cameron are playing love interests in a new film (which we thought was crazy since the break up in '07 was nasty and scandalous) and Jessica is said to be Freaking the F out (as she should!). Supposedly, Jessica's too damn clingy, and gettin' on Justin's last nerve. But Cameron is laid back and fun loving, providing a much needed reprieve from clingy Jessica. Ironically, Jessica may possibly be the reason Justin broke up with Cameron back in January 2007. Cameron went into a (public) rage after spotting Justin and Jessica flirting heavily at a Golden Globe's after party. We heard that the "Long Beach" in Cameron came out when she confronted the two with "so what is she your f*cking girlfriend now?!" Oooh, to be a fly on that wall!  Anyhoo, with that in mind, hooking up with Justin would be the ultimate revenge for Cameron... according to US mag, of course. Not Cameron herself.  Lastly it's said that Justin likes to be fought over. He is also supposedly a coward who can't break up with someone and move on. Instead he strings them along while being openly "distracted" pushing the girl to break up with him. *scratches head* Makes sense to us! Moving on...

•  Word is (US magazine) that our beloved (actress) Stacey Dash (best known for 1995's Clueless) recently filed a restraining order against her soon-to-be-ex Emmanuel Xuereb (they are pic'd above during happier times). Stacey is claiming that Emmanuel beat her during their 7 year message. Damn Shame! Dionne (Clueless) would have never put up with that shyit! Damn Stacey. How many husband's is this for you now? Guess that's what makes her a goddess... She mesmerizes them and keeps it movin'. And, this recent pin-up model is 44 years old! We're.Not.Mad!

•  Word is (Twitter) that Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have split. This is yesterday's news but what makes it spicy is that now Jenny's single but her ex-hubby/baby daddy is now all wrapped up in serial man eater Jennifer Love Hewitt (whom we adore, btw). Hopefully, Jenny had no plans on going back to the ex... and she and Jenny don't have no problems (Niecy Nash's Clean House voice). If that fight ever goes down, our money's on Jenny "from the block trailer park" McCarthy!

• Word is (US magazine) that Kim Kardashian's ex-husband was physically abusive. Hmmm... Wonder why this is coming up? This is not new news. We wonder if it's designed to take the attention off of her new relationship with a young hot Portuguese Soccer star Cristiano Rolano Daily (pic'd above receiving Player of The Year Award)? Or, to say Out Loud that Armenian Kim needs to stay away from Black men? We say that because of her very public breakup with Reggie Bush who it is now being reported was most likely cheating on Kim. There's also Ray J Norwood (Singer Brandy's lil' brother, also Black) who took the blame for publicizing his and Kim's sex tape made when they were a couple. And, now they've dug up an abusive Black ex-husband. Her first marriage, unapproved by the family, while she was still in her teens (19?). Hmmm... None of those situations are a good look for Kim K. And, supposedly C. Rolano has hooked up with (lately M.I.A from the media) Paris Hilton in the past and that ain't right either. Maybe Kim needs to keep it movin'? But hold up! We just read Mr. C. Rolano was set to sign a world record sponsorship deal with Nike. id it happen? We need to check up on that! It says here in an article dated Feb 10, 2010 that he was being offered $6 Million per year until 2014! That's $24Million for 4 years! Not bad. Reportedly, these numbers mean that C. Ronaldo is going down in history as the best paid "football" player where sponsorships are concerned. Hmmm... Maybe Kim's on the right path. We'll let Mom-Dukes Chris Jenner keep doin' her thing. Who are we???

RECAP: A Successful Single Black Woman Can't Find A Man Because She "Chooses Bums"

Per our previous post prior to the show airing, we said we'd be back with the recap. Ok, we admit it, we are just getting to this program...and we didn't watch all of the clips. But from what we did see, we have concluded that we all have to much fu*kin baggage to bind together in bliss. According to author Jimi Izrael, all successful Black women choose bums (clip #3).

**editor's note: we watched again with a (male) friend and he was very interested in the debate. He said he was surprised that a show about Blacks and relationships would air on ABC. This friend is known for his short attention span but he watched clip after clip with great enthusiasm. This made us look at the program in a whole new light. His feedback was that he related to much of what the men had to say and appreciated knowing he was not alone. On the flip, he was enlightened by the women and said they inspired him to fight for love, even if it meant himself.**

All aside, know this, if you find love/spark/connection that is deep and real and big enough for you to jump in with both feet then do so with conviction and purpose. 'Cause guess what: No matter how good things seem on the other side of the fence when the water gets rocky in your strong passionate relationship, know that there will always be problems, there will always be drama, even after you hop the fence to escape to "greener pastures". If you accept that NO ONE IS PERFECT, NOR WILL THEY COMPLETELY MEET YOUR IDEALS, and with that treat that person with the love and respect you feel you in turn deserve, you're good. Sidebar: Awareness and acceptance that no one is perfect doesn't mean just put up with any and everything. You should have standards, you should have boundaries, you should have self-worth. When these things are crossed/not met, it's time to reevaluate and transform. (To the beat of Jay Z & Swiss Beat's "ON TO THE NEXT ONE"! :-)-,,,,,,,

SCANDAL: Scott Storch Rose and Fell in "Spectacular Fashion" and the Miami New Times Gives Us All the Dirt

Well, this story isn't a new one, especially in Hollywood, but it's so scandalous we had to give it a mention. Hip Hop megaproducer Scott Storch is broke, having spent all of his millions in "spectacular fashion", and writer Gus Garcia-Roberts delves deep into his skeleton filled closet giving us all the dirt on Storch's rise and subsequent downfall in six-page expose' for Miami New Times online.

If you know Hiip Hop then you know Scott Storch. Known mostly for is Liberace-esque flamboyancy, it was also hard to miss that he was a white man in a black man's world-- Hip Hop beat making. His moms says that it is because she was so over-protective that he even had his music career. She says she refused to let his scrawny butt play sports, so she instead stuck him on a piano and gifted him with lessons. But it's also revealed that Scott has music in his blood. His father, brother, his great great grandfather, and even mom Yolanda (who bitterly snitched on his deadbeat ways in the article) were musical performers of some-sort.

With that in mind, it seems that music was his destiny. The fact that he was performing paid gigs by age 12, and by adulthood he was creating top ten hits left and right says it all. The roster of top ten hit songs is uber-impressive (some include  "Dr. Dre's "Still D.R.E", Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River", Fat Joe's "Lean Back", Beyonce's "Naughty Girl", and Chris Brown's "Run It") and it's clear has genuine talent. It's unfortunate, though, that there was no guidance for him where his money was concerned... and, of course, the drugs. *SMH* It's quoted that Storch's cocaine habit was so bad that "he now paired his jewelry with shirts stained from "blood that would just gush out of his nose at any given time."  Eww,that's so sick!

Miami New Times (where we got the story) also reported that BlueWave Music Group purchased his entire music catalog, valued at $70 Million, for mere $7 Million.  His manager and friend, Derek Jackson is President of BlueWave and MNT suspects the low-ball purchase is more of bailout for Storch who is bogged down with all sorts of judgements and other legal entaglements due to his downfall. Hopefully, he will use the bailout $ wisely and then get back in the studio and crank out some more hits. Word is that he's working on the infamous decade-in-the-making DETOX album with Dr. Dre. Most importantly, we hope Storch gets his mind right 'cause with that in the gutter, there's no hope.

Single Successful Black Women Stand Up! Why Can't You Find A Man???

Apparently, single successful Black women can't find a man and ABC is airing a program to tell the whole world WHY. We have our own conclusions of why the singledom of successful Black women is an epidemic of massive porportions (especially in L.A.!) but we are curious about what this panel has to say.

Sherri Shephard of The View, news correspondent Jacque Reid, author/actor Hill Harper, and author Jimi Izrael are the debaters.  Oh, and of course, Steve Harvey, the self-proclaimed expert on Black men/women and relationships, is all up in there with that book of his.

This is the 7th installment of the series.  We just hope it's not a doggin' the single Black female session, 'cause we're single black and female, and we ain't havin' it. Best believe we will watch and recap it tomorrow.  The show airs on ABC7's Nightline tonight (April 21st) at 11:35PM Pacific Standard. Below is a VERY entertaining preview, enjoy!

Deceased Laker Announcer Chick Hearn Brought Back to Life with Bronze Statue

If you are any kind of Laker fan, or even NBA fan for that matter, you knew Lakers broadcaster Chick Hearn. After all, the man did call an impressive 3,338 games! We have fond memories of our own of Chick, specifically of almost crashing into him in the Forum parking lot... but that's neither here nor there. The pic above is of Chick's wife, Marge, playfully posing with the commemorative statue.

LEGALLY SPEAKING: Notorious B.I.G. Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against the City of L.A. Dismissed - Surprised? Hell to the NO!

So, the verdict is in (April 5th) and the long-running case alleging wrongful death in the 1997 fatal shooting of 24 year old Notorious B.I.G., against the city of Los Angeles, has been dismissed. This news is no shock, however, as this case has been a head-scratcher since its inception-- mainly due to it being rife with police corruption and scandal.

Brought by BIG's family (Mom Volleta and Ex-Wife Faith Evans) aka "his estate", the lawsuit includes allegations that the LAPD were involved in BIG's killing. Several of the LAPD officers named in the suit were key players in LAPD's Rampart Division scandal, which exposed severe corruption within the police department. The suit also accused Death Row Records owner (at the time), Marion "Suge" Knight, of ordering the killing.

No doubt this case has been a thorn in the city's side, and they (the city of L.A.) along with the LAPD, and even the L.A. Times have been entangled in this massive web of lies and deceit from the start. The judge's dismissal is the cherry on top for these shady entites, but it is also a slap in the face to his memory, his family, friends, fans, and the world if you ask us. You know, this really burns us up! Did we mention BIG was only 24 years old at the time of his death? Someone (still alive) needs to take responsibility! But hey, who are we??? *throws pencil across the room, takes deep breath, pouts* Ok, carry on.
