ReplyDeleteOf course blanketing the country in a cloud of "Chronic Smoke" is not the way to assuage an economy in peril. I mean there would be peace, but what would get done? We are not serving the nation if we do something like this. Sure, it sounds fun and cool, but it bears with it some lasting effects that people are not looking at such as the need for building an infrastructure to regulate this. It's a slippery slope and will leave a heavy burden both morally and economically to our children.
Also, people have a need to feel as though they are getting away with something; sticking it to The Man.
I say keep it under wraps. I'd hate to see the day when pot is as popular as alcohol is or as cigarettes were in public places through the 1980's. Have integrity and discretion.
