CHECK OUT ESPN'S "ONE NIGHT IN VEGAS", A DETAILED LOOK AT 2PAC & MIKE TYSON'S FRIENDSHIP-- AND PAC'S LAST NIGHT ALIVE ... (VIDEO)
What hip hop, or boxing fan can forget September 7, 1996? For the Clueless: It was the night of the Mike Tyson/Bruce Sheldon fight in Las Vegas. Following the fight, rapper/activist Tupac Shakur was shot and ultimately killed. The documentary, shown as a part of ESPN's '30 for 30' series, called "One Night in Vegas" details the friendship between Tupac and Tyson. Directed by Reggie "Rock" Bythewood, the film parallels the lives of the two figures and details their bond. It explores the intersect between sports and hip hop, using their relationship as the backdrop. Check it out for yourself. Truthfully, we've only seen the first 20 minutes and up to that point it's all recap. Hopefully, the last half an hour offers up something new. [Source]
