Jennifer Lopez Talks "Idol" with 'Latina' Mag + More on her Legal Drama with Ex's Girlfriend...

Jennifer Lopez is enjoying the resurgence in her career. The new "American Idol" judge and L'Oreal spokesperson says she may even perform on the show. She tells Latina magazine: “It has a fresh, new feeling. Everybody is happy to be there and having a great time. Where else could everything that Steven and I have experienced and gone through and learned in our lives—where else could we pass that knowledge along? Even though we are judging them and have to give some harsh criticism sometimes, what we’re trying to do is to help them be better and to grow as artists.”

JLo on the "American Idol" set December 9th...

Her new gigs have to be a nice distraction from the drama going on with her ex-husband Ojani Noa and his onetime girlfriend/business partner, Claudia Vasquez, who is back in forth in court in efforts to move ahead with a movie about Lopez's life. A judge recently denied Vasquez a restraining order against Lopez but has set a hearing regarding an injunction against Noa and Vasquez which keeps them from saying anything negative about the star. Vasquez has filed a $10 million suit against Lopez claiming she has interfered with movie and TV projects. It has also been reported that Noa, 38, was banned from "Idol" auditions in at the Los Angeles Forum where he planned on standing in line and eventually singing Lopez's hits for judges Tyler and Jackson. Smh. We say, "Get a life!"
