Lebron James is a free agent and owners are drooling at the mouth for a chance to have him on their squad. Majority Nets owner, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov (pic'd above), is no exception and has a crafty proposal on the table which appeals to Lebron's public wishes for billionaire-dom, according to a Yahoo Sports posted on Wednesday. The other piece to this puzzle, is that Lebron and Minority Nets owner Sean Carter aka Jay Z are best buds.  Waiiit, there's moreee! Pop the trunk!

New owner of the New Jersey Jets, Mikhail Prokhorov (joined by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Sean "Jay Z" Carter, and arena developer Bruce Ratner) has a breakfast meeting-press conference to discuss his plans to rebuild the Nets. We agree that major changes are in order for the team that finished last season with a league worst record of 12-70!  

How embarrassing! Lebron, anyone?

SPOTTED: Bey & Jay Say Goodbye to Coachella, Spotted Strolling Thru LAX

Royal Hip Hop couple Jay Z & Beyonce saying goodbye to the Coachella Music Festival (Indio, CA) yesterday, were seen at LAX before jetting off looking very worn out relaxed and casual. :) Hey, what do you think of Bey's outfit? We like it and think she looks like a modern day (golden) goddess, but blogger Sandra Rose said Bey looks ridiculous. Seriously, Sandra? We mention Sandra 'cause we lifted the pic from her site. We don't agree with her viewpoints but she does break good stories. *saluting Sandra...with the middle finger up* Ok, that.is.all. Thanks for hanging.

Our favorite Hollywood (elite) couple, Jay & Bey, performing "Forever Young" together at Coachella last night. What a dream they're living, yea? We'd take it in a hearbeat *sigh*. In the meantime, staying forever young, is the goal!

LEGALLY SPEAKING: Jay Z Sues Red Sox's David Ortiz for Forty/Forty Fraud

David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox must have really really enjoyed himself at Jay Z's 40/40 Club! Word is that Jay Z and business partners are now suing him and his sister, Albania Ortiz, for opening a club in the Dominican Republic with the same name and premise.

Though Ortiz's club is Forty/Forty not 40/40 Jay ain't havin it. Ortiz is being sued for "trademark infringement", "unjust enrichment", and "false designation of sponsorship". He is also being charged with "cyber-squatting" for running a Spanish language website of the same name(www.fortyforty.net). All of this will cost Ortiz 5 milli + if Jay has his way.

Apparently, Ortiz claimed he had never even been to Jay's 40/40 but there are pics (video?) of him partying it up there... a 2008 All-Star game event. Womp Womp.

What a loser move. C'Mon Son!
